properties of identity.
6-piece series

Parts of this series are meant to feel retro. Like lo-fi. Or tracksuits. Or Gulf Racing.

But other parts push past that into vintage territory. Like old book covers. Or Virginia Woolf. Or grammar.

If you're anything like me, and I certainly hope you aren't, your personality is very heavily compartmentalized. There's tension, if not downright conflict between the different factions that make up your identity, arguing over everything from preferences for food and music to the memory you'd most like to relive if you were given access to a time machine. It's like having roommates that share your skin but don't contribute much to the rent.

But maybe, just maybe, there's a way to harness the essence of that writhing, neural cacophony and use it to create something truly beautiful.

Or maybe you just need to sit down with someone once a week and talk about how your parents never had time for little league.

Either way.
